GCC Market Entry - Singapore Fintech

Project Brief: 

A Singapore based Fintech in wealth management space with $1b+ investments under advisory is looking to enter high growth GCC region. They are in discussion to raise new funds from their investors and may consider deploying around $10m for the expansion plans.

 

Project Description: 

Develop comprehensive market entry plan for this Singapore-based wealth management fintech platform expanding to GCC region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar). Analyze regulatory landscape, competitive positioning, distribution partnerships, product localization requirements, and go-to-market strategy for family office and HNW individual segments.

  • Week 1 (Feb 9-15): Project kickoff & prelim research on the segment and region
  • Week 2 (Feb 16-22): Extensive market research and analysis
  • Week 3 (Feb 23-Mar 1): Continue with research and practical aspects of venturing into a new region
  • Week 4 (Mar 2-8): Final submission and presentation
Project Highlight & Challenges:

GCC region has witnessed a boom in the wealth management space with global players eyeing the market for still growing rich investor base. Key challenge is identifying the right business model that is suited for the region and work out an implementable go to market strategy.
