There is no upfront package. You pay per completed session - the fee is confirmed during the matching process and varies by service and mentor level. Research Mentoring sessions are priced per session; Subject Tutoring can be booked one at a time. If an engagement is not working for any reason, you can stop without losing a committed sum.
This model reflects a straightforward principle - you pay for value delivered, session by session, with full visibility throughout.
Insider Mentors include current students and recent graduates from UC Berkeley, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, University of Michigan, and other Ivy League and leading global universities - with the pool growing across domains. Every mentor is individually reviewed by AperioHub before being introduced to a student, covering academic background, research depth, and suitability for working with high school students.
Research Mentoring builds the kind of substantive academic project that strengthens an application - original work with a clear research question, a structured process, and a real output. Subject Tutoring improves academic performance in the subjects that matter for the application. Essay and Application Review (opening October 2026) provides feedback from someone who recently wrote these same essays. Application Strategy (opening November 2026) helps students build a well-timed, coherent plan.
All sessions take place on a video platform provided by AperioHub, with recording and AI-generated notes active throughout. Both the mentor and student log a summary after every session. Parents can view session logs at any time using their student's access code. All communication between mentor and student is routed through AperioHub's platform, maintaining a structured and disciplined engagement from start to finish.
