Banking & Finance
Four weeks of structured project work in financial analysis, investment research, and capital markets — applying the frameworks professionals use to a real-world business problem, in a global team.
What you'll actually build
Every group works on one structured project brief built around a real-world finance scenario. You are not reading case studies or completing modules — you are producing a deliverable: an investment case, a financial evaluation, or a structured sector analysis with a clear recommendation.
The brief is set against a real market context. Groups work through the problem as a finance team would — defining the question, gathering and interpreting data, building the analytical framework, and constructing a recommendation that holds up under scrutiny.
The final deliverable includes a structured financial analysis and a recommendation narrative, produced collaboratively across four workstreams and presented live at the end of Week 4.
Align
Define the investment or analytical question, map the landscape, agree on workstream split and data sources.
Build
Gather data, apply financial models, build valuation or analytical frameworks, test assumptions across workstreams.
Converge
Synthesise findings, stress-test the logic, agree on the recommendation, plan the output structure.
Deliver
Finalise the deliverable, build the recommendation narrative, present live to the full cohort.
Skills you'll be able to demonstrate
These are things you can speak to directly in an interview or on your profile after completing the program — grounded in the work you produced, not a syllabus you covered.
Financial Analysis
Working with financial data to evaluate performance, size markets, and build investment cases — with clear assumptions stated and tested against evidence.
Investment Research
Sourcing and synthesising data from multiple inputs to build a coherent picture of an opportunity — identifying what matters and what the numbers actually say.
Structured Presentation
Organising complex financial findings into a clear, professional output — the kind that holds up to scrutiny from a senior audience and can go directly into a portfolio.
Data Interpretation
Reading and contextualising quantitative data — identifying signal from noise, and translating what the numbers say into implications for the investment or business question.
Cross-Cultural Collaboration
Working in a distributed group across time zones — managing async communication, coordinating workstreams, and producing a coherent shared output under a structured deadline.
Global Finance Context
Exposure to cross-border deal dynamics, regulatory environments, and how financial analysis and investment evaluation differ across markets and geographies.
This domain is built for three kinds of people
The program works across experience levels — what matters is genuine interest in the work and the commitment to see the project through.
First real exposure to how financial work gets done
You have studied the theory. This is the first time you will apply it to an actual problem, in a team, under a structured deadline — and produce something you can speak to directly in an interview.
Pre-interview project experience in a new domain
You are targeting banking or investment roles and need something concrete beyond coursework. Four weeks of structured finance project work gives you a specific example to reference — and a result to show.
Testing a move into finance before committing
You are considering a move into finance from another field. This program gives you structured exposure to the actual work — before committing to a full pivot — alongside peers doing the same thing.

AperioHub provided a great platform to work on real-world projects with a diverse international team. As team coordinator, I developed leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills while building a practical ESG investment framework. A very enriching experience.
AperioHub provided a valuable platform to gain experience in ESG investment analysis and research. The internship challenged me to think critically, learn advanced tools, and apply sustainability concepts to real investment decisions.
AperioHub's program clearly improves communication and teamwork skills. Working with international team members is a big advantage — and working on industry and finance topics that are genuinely relevant to the future. AperioHub truly combines it all.
