Program Structure & Operating Guidance

Program Dates:

Internship Program runs: March 9 – April 5, 2026 (4 weeks)

 

Program Structure: 

Below is a general guidance around how the progress may look like. Individual teams and participants are free to use their own judgement and make required changes as needed

  • Week 1 (Mar 9-15): Project Kickoff & Research
  • Week 2 (Mar 16-22): Analysis & Framework Development
  • Week 3 (Mar 23-29): Synthesis & Draft Deliverables
  • Week 4 (Mar 30-Apr 5): Final Delivery & Presentations

Tech Tools: 

Slack / WhatsApp / AperioHub website / Google AperioHub shared drive folders / Personal Gmail and Google Workspace Apps / Others as needed

 

Communication Channels:

  • Primary: Slack workspace (invite to be sent by Mar 7-8)
  • Urgent/Reminders: WhatsApp community (you’re already here!) or groups (as needed)

 

Response Time Expectations: (earlier the better)

  • Team member messages: Respond within 24 hours
  • Team Coordinator requests: Respond within 12 hours
  • Weekly status: Submit by Friday end of day

⚠️ Non-responsive participants may be removed from program

 

Completion Requirements:

To earn your AperioHub internship completion certificate, you must:

  • Attend 3 of 4 weekly team check-ins (or justified absence)
  • Contribute meaningfully to team deliverables (verified by coordinator/mentor)
  • Complete post-program survey

 

What to Expect & When

Planned progress and engagements – indicative and subject to changes. Periodically updated

Indicative Timeline & Engagements

  • Week 1: 
      • T-2: Slack / WhatsApp groups as per teams 
      • T-1: Details on project, team coordinator & members. Project specific web pages to be activated
      • Day 1: Internship starts.
        -Everyone reviews project brief and shared reference materials.
        -Team coordinator to arrange introductory call among team members to get to know each other
        -Everyone updates their Slack profile including photo (mandatory)
        -Teams to discuss and plan work distribution among members. Coordinators to facilitate active engagement        -Daily or periodic updates by the founder on Slack channel
      • Day 2: Continue with assigned work and engage actively on Slack 
      • Day 3/4: Initial groupwise call with founder/mentor
      • Day 5: Progress brief update to be shared on Slack
  • Week 2: 
      • Team Coordinator to plan in consultation with members
      • Day 11/12: Groupwise weekly call with founder/mentor
  • Week 3: 
      • Team Coordinator to plan in consultation with members
      • Day 18/19: Groupwise weekly call with founder/mentor
  • Week 4:
      • Team Coordinator to plan in consultation with members
      • Day 26/27/28: Final presentations and discussions. Completion Survey
      • Day 29-32: Internship Completion certificate or letter issuance
